The most exciting event of the summer in Paris is here again! From July 6 to September 8, Paris Beaches transforms the Seine riverbanks with lots of comfy chairs and umbrellas, offering an array of free activities, all while celebrating sports (in honor of the Olympics). What's new for 2024? A fresh location has opened in addition to the usual swimming pool at La Villette and the riverside park, right by the Saint-Martin Canal. From swimming to canoeing, kayaking, and games of pétanque, there's never a dull moment! Soak up the sun and enjoy the fun at Paris Beaches! 🌞🌊🏖️

Summer Fun 2024

The Gaîté Lyrique is embracing the summer vibes! Summer of the Canal 2024

From July 6th to August 11th, Summer of the Canal is back between Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis, for a festive and sporty edition. Outdoor cinema on the roof of the Machine du Moulin Rouge

The cinema on the roof of the Machine du Moulin Rouge is back this summer! This year, the Montmartre institution and Sofilm, with whom it organizes the event every year, have gone all out with the theme of gastronomy. Every Wednesday, from July 10 to September 11, we meet on the terrace of the Bar à Bulles to watch a film under the stars, all for free! Solidarity Jam agr.Charitable Event; Saint-Ouen Town Hall

Solidarity Jam is coming to the most delicious market hall in Saint-Ouen for a day and night of solidarity and music, in collaboration with the association AIDES. The goal? To promote the fight against AIDS in a friendly and festive atmosphere, with the help of interactive activities. Starting at 2pm, the event kicks off at Place des fêtes with speeches from spokespersons of the association AIDES and influential figures in the fight against AIDS, followed by activities at 3:30pm! Information and prevention stands will be present, along with creative workshops (creating personalized red ribbons, painting, etc.), activities for children, a glitter stand, and a large Solidarity Wall where participants can leave messages.Tonight, get ready for a fabulous event! The queer party collective Club Humide takes over the 18th institution for a day and invites us to a beautiful outdoor popular party. The lineup includes DJ sets by Club Humide residents (Fenouil2000, Lucifer & James Marceau), a big participative parade led by drag queen Catherine Pine O'Noir followed by a drag show with lipsync performances, live acts, surprises, gifts, and a national outfit competition. And of course, throughout the day we will enjoy music, dance, and joy. Flame Relay in Paris

We're not telling you anything new, July 26th marks the start of the major event of the.This year in France: the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. And when we talk about the Olympics, we also talk about the Olympic flame. In the capital, it will pass through for the first time on July 14 and 15, before finishing its journey on the 26th for the opening ceremony and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron. It's the perfect opportunity to see it! From Goutte d'Or to the Belleville neighborhood, passing by the Bataclan, the Bastille, or the National Assembly, as well as Notre-Dame and the Grand Mosque of Paris, the Olympic flame relay runners will cover a total of 31 kilometers on July 14 and 27.5 kilometers on July 15. July 14 Military Parade

You got it, on July 14, Paris will be the place to be for all the parades! While the Torch Relay will be in full swing at City Hall and the Bastille, in the west of Paris, the traditional July 14th military parade will indeed take place. But this year, the event is saying farewell to the Champs-Elysées and saying hello to avenue Foch, located on the other side of the Arc de Triomphe. On the agenda: a parade of army helicopters and planes, a parade of troops on foot consisting of nearly 4,000 women and men, and a parade of mounted troops with over 200 horses from the Republican Guard.

Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games

The Games are officially underway! On Friday, July 26, starting at 7:30pm, the flotilla show will kick off from the Austerlitz Bridge for a 6km route from east to west ending at the Iéna Bridge, culminating in a finale of spectacular performances and ceremonial events at the Trocadéro. While the lower quays are reserved for ticketed spectators, the upper quays are open for free to all those who want to enjoy this event. With 80 giant screens and sound systems, everyone can soak in the magical atmosphere of the event. Are you going to miss out on this?
