In April, don’t get stuck at home, but don’t hesitate to step outside! The fourth month of the year has a lovely lineup for us in Paris: contemporary art galore, delicious cheese and 100% female wine, cinema all around, and a giant dictation to perfect your spelling... Art Paris at the Grand Palais Éphémère

The Art Paris fair is back under the magnificent roof of the Grand Palais Éphémère for its 26th edition! From April 4 to 7, nearly 136 modern and contemporary art galleries from 25 different countries will unveil their ever more surprising programs. With 42 newcomers compared to 2023, the 2024 selection stands out with the very first participation of European galleries that are setting the trend in contemporary art, such as Esther Schipper, Peter Kilchmann, Meessen, and Michel Rein.

Escape from Paris at Ground Control

From April 26 to 28, Escape from Paris, a free pop-up escape game, is back for its third spring edition at Ground Control. What's on the agenda? A total immersion in the Grottes du Foulon deep in Eure-et-Loir, a true little green paradise. But hurry, you’ll need to outsmart all the traps in this cave in 20 minutes flat before it collapses and seals its entrance forever…

The Gaze Cinema Club at Gaîté Lyrique 

The feminist magazine Gaze teams up with Gaîté Lyrique for a bimonthly feminist cinema gathering: the Gaze Cinema Club highlights a special guest and THE film directed by a woman that changed her life. This month, we will enjoy a screening of the film Fish Tank by Andrea Arnold, alongside Alice Moitié, photographer and director.

The Great Dictation of Games on the Champ-de-Mars

After the BNF, the pen brand Pilot Pen France is organizing its new giant dictation on the Champ-de-Mars for the Paris Book Festival on Friday, April 12, 2024. The Cult Evening of Goldorak at Grand Rex

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Goldorak – the gigantic extraterrestrial war machine beloved by children of the 70s and 80s – a grand event evening dedicated to the famous robot will take place at Grand Rex. The Nikon Film Festival 2024 Awards at the Grand Rex

After more than 2700 entries, the 50 finalists of the Nikon Film Festival have been revealed! A committee of audiovisual professionals selected the films that will compete during the awards ceremony taking place on April 27 at the Grand Rex. Notable entries include Burned Heads by Corentin Masse & Costin Ranzoni, Burn-out by Louis Dabrowski, and Flirt by Nina Perrin.
