Meet Mr. Alfred, a seasoned writer struggling with doubt in writing his latest novel, and his characters: Bozo the clown, Yvette the accordionist, Madame Loyal, and Zampano the knife thrower. One of them must die, but the author cannot decide alone. The solution? He summons them all to his house so that they can decide for him. Between surprises, rivalries, and rebellions, we witness a true feast of beasts where everyone tries to save their own skin. An original and hilarious story in a dreamlike atmosphere.
