As the Olympics approach, the Monnaie de Paris invites us to dive into the fascinating and lesser-known history of Olympic medals. And since it is the institution itself that will strike the medals for the 2024 edition, who better to guide us through the past, trace the evolution of the games, and especially of these mythical rewards? Objects, images, and archives take us back to this iconic moment of the games, the award ceremony. Thoughts at the end of the test. A supreme moment, made concrete by one thing: the medal.

Brancusi at Centre Pompidou

The most controversial museum in Paris (at least when it comes to discussions about its design and structure) offers us an exceptional tribute to the father of modern sculpture. Absolutely fascinating works, of rare delicacy and poetry, which demonstrate all the talent and ambivalence of the Romanian artist. And it's almost an immersive experience that the Centre Pompidou proposes to us, by reconstructing Brancusi's studio, to dive into his creative process. It's nice, and it adds a little extra to this exhibition that is already completely oversized bringing together over 400 works.
