The Editor

Parisian streets have become the playground, but above all, the expression, of a tribe of artists from pop culture! The progressive invasion of street art in Paris is undeniable! But where can you come face to face with frescoes painted on the concrete?

Le Bonbon has chosen to take you on a walk and stop at the best street corners. Obviously, this list is not exhaustive. If you had any doubts about street art, we should prove you wrong. Let's go!

Place Igor Stravinsky - 75004

Silence in Paris is priceless

Just a few meters away from the Georges Pompidou Center is one of the most famous stencils in Paris! Created by the street artist Jef Aerosol, this artwork invites us to listen to the city and be attentive! A lovely advice for all busy Parisians!

Whether it's skateboarding or rollerblading, you'll get your dose of adrenaline surrounded by freshly painted walls! It's not really a mural, but rather a medley of signatures. Lots of creativity at Bercy!

Cité de l’Ameublement and rue du Morvan – 75011

If you happen to enter one of these two streets, it is very likely that you will feel slightly observed! The eyes of Le CyKlop are painted on all the bollards! You will love watching them devour you with their eyes.

Let's head up to the 11th district to see the M.U.R! The Modulable Urban Reactif association has a wall on Oberkampf street where street artists can freely express themselves! To stick to the rule, the artworks are exhibited for a short period of time because the wall changes its graffiti like changing shirts, every two weeks!

Point Ephémère - 75019

Translation:

Let's head to the 19th district where the Quai de Valmy is a true temple of street art. A cultural hub with exhibitions and concerts, but above all, open-air art.

Walking along Rue de l'Ourcq is like diving into a colorful and imaginative world. This immense fresco is a joyful mix of the work of several artists, including creations by Mr Chat who paints... well, cats, the tangy characters by Da Cruz, and the buildings and urban world by Artof Popof.

Things are happening on Ordenner Street, where a 300-meter-long wall is regularly taken over by artists from all over. A symbol of a healthy graffiti community, this street art spot changes its appearance quite frequently. Graffiti is uncovered and recovered! Definitely worth visiting multiple times!

We continue our journey to settle in the Square des Deux Nèthes. Here, the artist JoOne has created a touching portrait of Abbé Pierre with words, his own words! These were spoken during the 1954 appeal in favor of the homeless.

We are finishing our expedition in the 18th district with a stop at a legendary square, Place de Clichy. Along Avenue de Clichy, we discover stencils from the first wave of street art. The stencil characters by Jef Aerosol, the jungle animals by the collective Mosko & Associates, and the figures of <.Jérôme Mesnager is waiting for you.
