Dear Evan Hansen, at the Théâtre de la Madeleine

Until January 18th, the Théâtre de la Madeleine is hosting Dear Evan Hansen, the award-winning musical that has taken Broadway by storm with six Tony Awards. Directed and adapted by Olivier Solivérès, featuring lyrics by Hoshi, the show introduces us to Evan, a high school student who feels out of place and deeply alone, longing to be seen and heard. Through a lost letter, the disappearance of a classmate, and a misunderstanding, Evan gradually discovers himself, becoming someone in the eyes of the world and bringing people together around him. The Sun King, at Le Dôme de Paris 

I make you my essential”, “To Love is Forbidden”, “As Long as We Still Dream”... These iconic titles from the 2005 version of the musical The Sun King are echoing again in the capital. Twenty years later, the show is back, still thanks to the efforts of Kamel Ouali and Dove Attia. On stage, Emmanuel Moire takes on his prestigious role as King Louis XIV, alongside Louis Delort who plays his brother, and Lou as Marie Mancini. In a modernized staging, mainly featuring virtual backgrounds that enhance the immersion in each scene, the actors transport the audience into the torments of Versailles during the era, amidst the reign of the king and his romantic conquests. Energetic choreography accompanies vibrant costumes full of shine and colors. A timeless moment for nostalgic souls.
