When Will You Return? at the BnF

Almost 30 years after her passing, Barbara, an icon of French song, is celebrated at the heart of the Donors' Gallery at the BnF. Through a hundred documents, the exhibition revisits the working methods of the singer, as well as her relationship with the stage, her love for words and music. Various photos, letters, sheet music, and posters are gathered here to highlight the endless love that connected the singer to her audience and continues, three decades later, to make the texts of this extraordinary artist resonate.

Face to the Sky at the Museum of Romantic Life
