For the occasion, we're inviting you to discover the cultural institutions of the capital in a new way, paying tribute to some of the greatest women artists the world has ever seen.
Olga de Amaral at the Cartier Foundation
The first major retrospective dedicated to the Colombian artist in Europe, this exceptional exhibition traces the entire career of Olga de Amaral. As you wander through the galleries, you'll discover a spectacular body of work, crafted from interwoven, woven, and braided threads to create three-dimensional and monumental pieces. The Cartier Foundation elevates an artist who has often stayed in the shadows of others to the status of a huge icon, and it feels good. Hanging from the ceiling, the creations play with light and our senses, drawing us into her iridescent universe, which blends tradition and abstraction.
