The Parisian museums have pulled out all the stops to present you with a fantastic program. The idea? Access most museums for free for one enchanting evening. We’ve diligently sifted through the program and handpicked 5 activities you absolutely can't miss.


Enjoy a spectacular fashion show at the Petit Palais

Fashion lovers, we’ve found the perfect event for you. For one magical evening, the Petit Palais will transform into a one-of-a-kind runway, showcasing the students from the Camille Saint-Saëns Conservatory.

>, in the 8th. To the sound of their instruments, they will accompany a parade blending music, dance, and comedy from 7 PM to 10 PM. And for those with a creative side, you can even join a workshop starting at 6:30 PM to design "fashion silhouettes" inspired by the portraits from the museum. A burst of artistic and creative energy that will delight both young and old, to be discovered in the breathtaking setting of this essential Parisian institution.

Discover new instruments at the Museum of Music

Goodbye to the traditional piano, guitar, and violin. For one evening, embark on a journey to discover new sounds with the 1000 instruments and art objects on display from the thousands that make up the museum's collection. Some even belonged to Chopin, Liszt, Django Reinhardt, Frank Zappa, or Pierre Henry. For a few hours, we travel through the ages, from the late 16th century to today, thanks to a free visit of the institution. Discovering Queer Paris at the Carnavalet Museum

On the occasion of the World Day...On the fight against homophobia and transphobia, which also takes place on May 17 this year, the Carnavalet Museum combines culture and commitment by offering us a day and an evening celebrated with joy and inclusivity. Through its collections, this institution dedicated to the history of the capital shines a light on the LGBTQIA+ history of the City of Light with unique tours specially designed for the occasion. There will be 45-minute sessions aimed at a young adult audience, led energetically by Doïna and Alex from Queer Tours France.

Enjoy a live street art performance at the Monnaie de Paris

For one evening, street artists Nassyo, JonOne, and Lek & Sowat will take over the cour d’honneur of the Monnaie de Paris to deliver a live performance. It's a great opportunity to connect with the exhibitions currently on display at the heart of the institution, dedicated to Georges Mathieu and his influence on urban art. The four artists invited on May 17 are also featured in the exhibition Graffitis x Georges Mathieu, which can be explored for free during the evening, just like the rest of the museum.
