Navigating between the virtual and the real, this performance takes us on a memorable poetic journey.

Paquita, at the Opéra Bastille

In 1976, choreographer Pierre Lacotte breathed new life into this classic ballet created in 1846. Set in 19th century Spain, a young gypsy girl is kidnapped by bandits. She falls in love with Lucien, a young nobleman, who helps her escape. This ballet takes us right into the heart of a romantic passion, performed by Valentine Colasante (Paquita) and Guillaume Diop (Lucien d’Hervilly).
