Voice notes, they're a double-edged sword. Either you love them and use them excessively, or you hate them and shout it from the rooftops. Whether you're on the concise text team or you prefer the 13 minute and 56 second babble about your cat Pepito's adorable new trick, it doesn't matter. We're all in the same boat.
Since Tuesday, February 7th, WhatsApp has launched a brand new feature: voice status. Okay, cool, but what does that mean? Meta explains, in a blog article, that all users will have the ability to "record and share up to 30-second voice messages as their status". It's a bit like an Instagram story, but in audio form.
So, we can click on the profile picture of our different contacts and discover their status of the day: an image, a video, a GIF, a link, a text, and now also a voice message. That's enough to make your hair stand on end.
phew..We've added some exciting 🆕 updates to the status feature.
