Here's some super, super hot news that might just lead you to commit one of the seven deadly sins. The Dubai chocolate with pistachio – which has been causing a stir on social media for several weeks now – is making a splash in Paris at one of our favorite chocolatiers in the capital. Come along with us!

A buzz with Levantine flavors

Unless you’ve been living under a rock – or you’ve sworn off scrolling through social media – you’ve definitely heard about the Dubai chocolate. This treat created by Anglo-Egyptian entrepreneur Sarah Hamouda, as mentioned in Le Monde, is inspired by knafeh, a traditional Levantine dessert. A milk chocolate bar that looks perfectly normal on the outside, but holds a delightful creamy filling with pistachio, tahini, and golden strands of sweetness at its core.

Grilled cheese. In short, the ultimate pleasure in one bite, crispy and creamy all at once.

This chocolate bar, originally made by the Fix Chocolate Factory in Dubai, has created quite the buzz on social media, and many internet users have been eager to get their hands on it – sometimes at outrageous prices – just to taste this cacao and pistachio holy grail.

Spotted by our friends at Paris ZigZag, the Dubai chocolate makes a brief appearance in the French capital thanks to the cacao master Michel Cluizel. Indeed, while many chocolatiers around the world have taken on the (heavy) task of recreating this hit chocolate bar, in Paris, it's the Cluizel house that has dedicated itself to crafting its own high-end reinterpretation. So, let us introduce you to Eclat d’Orient, featuring a heart made of Iranian pistachios and kadaïf vermicelli, all wrapped in a chocolate made from beans sourced from the La Laguna plantation.

The only catch? This creation is a (very) limited edition. Each 45 g bar – sold at €9 each – is handcrafted and numbered, with only 2025 bars being made in total. So don’t wait too long, sweet lovers; they can be found in the five Petite Manufacture Cluizel locations in Paris and on the online shop.
