Last December, we told you all about it, and the project has finally come to life! Danny Khezzar, the iconic finalist of season 14 of Top Chef and Michelin-starred chef at Bayview in Geneva, has opened his very first restaurant alongside the Bistrots Pas Parisiens, at the gates of Paris. It's called Monsieur Claude, a French bistro perched 14 meters high, crowned with a rooftop terrace offering a panoramic view of the capital, all wrapped up in a decor reminiscent of the Roaring Twenties.
A Roaring Twenties-style Elevated Bistro
Known for his cheerful demeanor, two-tone dreads, and high-pitched laugh, at just 28 years old, Danny Khezzar has gained a wonderful reputation in the French - and Swiss - culinary scene! So much so that he is opening his first address under the Bistrots Pas Paris brand at the beginning of 2025.

What’s on the agenda? A cozy atmosphere, softly dimmed lights, and a live music performance on a lovely grand piano taking center stage, along with servers in suspenders… In short, a theatrical decor that transports us back to the 1930s, featuring culinary delights (at rather affordable prices) and a vibrant musical ambiance. To top it all off…A super rooftop welcomes you to enjoy a cocktail with a breathtaking panoramic view. It’s a must.
French cuisine with exotic touches
On the food side, Danny Khezzar has crafted a bold menu that reinterprets the chic Parisian bistro style, sprinkled with his creative and modern flair with exotic notes. The menu is short, simple, and effective, designed to delight a wide audience, as it costs “only” 49€ per person, allowing you to choose between two starters, two main dishes, and two desserts. Of course, it evolves over the months and seasons, but for its opening, the chef treated us to revisited snails; a creamy sunchoke velouté with notes of fresh goat cheese and tonka bean; a lacquered flank steak from Maison Metzger (his specialty) with caramelized shallots and kimchi; a wood-fired yellow pollock; and for the sweet touch, a roasted apple with pistachio praline and a soufflé chocolate tart. Just enough to make your mouth water!rave; the taste and give you an idea of what the chef is offering at Madame Claude. Happy discovering!
