Pasta is life. There you go, now that we've laid the groundwork and we’re all on the same page, we can dive right into the heart of the matter: the opening of a brand new spot dedicated entirely to these little culinary wonders, Bouillante. It’s the latest concept launched by Justine Piluso, one of the best Top Chef candidates ever, right in the incredible big store in the 1st district. A super tempting pasta bar, where you take the reins from start to finish to create the plate of your dreams.
Simple and delicious cooking
At Bouillante, the chef invites you to let your imagination run wild while crafting your perfect dish. To start, you choose from 4 types of fresh pasta, with rather original shapes (no spaghetti or penne here). Mafaldine, fusilli col buco,Frilly mushrooms or radiators, are bases that we appreciate especially for their texture and deliciousness.

Next comes the crucial moment, the time to choose your sauce. Super comforting recipes, made with simple and, above all, seasonal ingredients. From creamy mushrooms to braised shoulder, including red tuna or the… ```wintery cream cheese, there will be something for everyone’s taste.
To finish, we add some little toppings, just to perfect it all. Grilled bacon, breadcrumbs, parmesan, olive powder or hazelnuts, we’d like to warn you, the hardest part will clearly be not taking everything and leaving a little for others. There you have it, a plate as lovely as Justine herself.

A 5-star menu in a dreamy setting
And since the more, the merrier, you can pair your heaping plate of pasta with a small starter by trying the seasonal vegetable velouté, just to feel a bit virtuous, or dive into the "bruschetines", which are little bruschettas on baguette bread. Again, it’s a tough choice because you’ll have to decide between the 4 recipes on the menu, all of which promise delicious options.
And to end on a sweet note, let’s indulge in one of the desserts dreamed up by the chef, also featuring delightful creations.
flavors of Italy, of course. Once this incredible meal is devoured, we treat ourselves to a little digestive stroll through the aisles of the Samaritaine, a temple of art deco and art nouveau. And the good news is that right now, the store is transforming into a giant fairy garden. An ambiance almost as magical as Justine Piluso's pasta !
