It was the ranking that we were eagerly anticipating. Like every year, the “World’s 50 Best Bars” revealed its list of the best establishments in the world. While Paris didn’t snag the top spot this time, once again, the French capital shines with three of its bars ranked among the 50 best, reaffirming its status as an unmissable destination for mixology.

Three well-known Parisian establishments in this ranking
Not surprisingly, the three Parisian bars honored this year are the same as last year. However, this 2025 edition shows some exciting progress in the rankings. The Bar Nouveau jumped an impressive twenty-two places compared to 2024 (where it was ranked 39th), landing in the 17th position now. The Danico has also climbed the ranks, reaching the 30th spot, up from last year's 49th place.

The Cambridge Public House has slightly slipped back, moving from 19th to 20th place, but it still remains one of the exceptional bars in Paris — and worldwide! The establishment has also received a special honor: the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award 2025, which recognizes the bar with the most sustainable and committed approach.
The best bar in the world located in China
The big winner this year is the Bar Leone, located in Hong Kong, climbing from second to first place. It’s followed by Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico — last year’s champion — and two Barcelona establishments in 3rd and 4th places: Sips and Paradiso.
