Hot news! A highly flambé spot has just opened in the heart of Paris. I present to you Benihana, the most famous teppanyaki address in the world, which after conquering more than 17 different countries, is settling in France for the very first time, right on the chic rue Saint-Honoré.
The Beloved Spot of Celebrities
Benihana has popularized teppanyaki since the 60s, a Japanese culinary technique (the American way) where spatulas dance all around and veggies or meats are flambéed on a hot plate. This invention was created by Rocky Aoki, who opened the first Benihana in New York in 1964. Today, the brand boasts around a hundred locations worldwide, where celebrities regularly stop by, from Taylor Swift to Brad Pitt to Halle Berry.

Teppanyaki in Paris
It was high time for Benihana to make its way to Paris, and now it's officially here! The restaurant opened its doors on Friday, December 6th on Saint-Honoré Street. Just like its other locations, it features a chic and vibrant decor, with gold accents from wall to ceiling against a black backdrop. What's on the menu? A spectacular flame show upstairs with a variety of teppanyaki options, ranging from all veggies to the incredibly prestigious wagyu beef. Downstairs, you can cool things down with some amazing sushi and maki crafted by the talented Chef David Coulomb. All of this can be paired with signature cocktails to make your dinner truly perfect!
