It's official: the XXL terrace at the Jardins du Marais is making its grand return to Paris! Get ready for a summer of cocktails, pétanque, and relaxation, all in the charming courtyard of one of the most beautiful hotels in the 11th arrondissement. 

In Paris, it's rare to find a place right in the city center that offers such a vast and green space as the terrace of the Jardins du Marais. Away from the urban hustle, this little oasis invites Parisians and visitors alike to sit under the umbrellas, toast in the late afternoon, or extend the evening with an acoustic concert. For the past two weeks and until the end of September, this 1,500 m² space has been hosting a varied program where friendliness, gastronomy, and artistic discoveries come together.


A Summer Program for Laughing, Playing, and Strolling

In the cozy ambiance of a Mediterranean-style garden, the terrace of the Jardins du Marais stands out as a must-visit summer spot, both elegant and accessible. Starting from mid-May all the way through September, the place buzzes with a program designed to elevate the French art of living: petanque tournaments with friends, Mölkky games in the shade of the parasols, and lively DJ sets to kick off the evenings. 

The decor, envisioned as a peaceful escape from the urban hustle, blends wicker furniture, hanging lanterns, bistro tables, and lush greenery. People come here to relax but also to discover a variety of artists, as the terrace hosts events all summer long with exciting performances!

Artistic collectives hosting, among other things, readings, mini-acoustic concerts, and performances.


Seasonal cuisine to share 

On the plate, the menu offers a simple, generous and quality cuisine, ready to be enjoyed on the go or as shareable appetizers—it's up to you! How about some melting truffle croquettes and crispy golden falafels to dip in...a yogurt and fresh herb sauce, royal pizza to share, creamy burrata, colorful vegetarian plates: delightful dishes designed to elevate those long summer evenings.

And to enhance the experience, a selection of fruity cocktails, created in collaboration with the house of Lillet, experts in Spritz, is available at the bar. Served in glasses adorned with citrus or fresh herbs, they perfectly embody the sunny spirit of this terrace… Not quite like the others!
