We have wonderful news for you: the raclette season is officially here. The temperatures are dropping, the nights are getting longer and darker, and that can only mean one thing: it's high time to gather around a mountain of melted cheese. However, we know it’s not necessarily the healthiest dish out there. Luckily, the association 60 Millions de consommateurs lifts our spirits a bit by revealing that among the hundreds of cheese slices on the market, there’s one that isn’t so bad after all.
One range stands out
As delicious as raclette is, it often gets a bad reputation. It has a strong smell, it's fatty, it can upset your stomach, it’s not easy to digest, in short, it's not very good for your health.
So, while there's unfortunately not much we can do about the smell, it seems that when it comes to nutritional benefits (or the lack thereof), we’ve found a solution that should delight many (us included).Moi: le meilleur pour la santé dans le fromage c'est la croute

M.8 ans : ah mais du coup la raclette c'est bon pour la santé! pic.twitter.com/73xLJTn6XB
This solution comes from the association 60 Millions de consommateurs, which has compared cheeses from 6 major supermarket brands, specifically the slices that are the easiest to find and that we often reach for, revealing that among them lies the sacred raclette that's not bad for your health! And it turns out to be U's matured cheese range on a spice board.
Raclette, like it's raining!
Composition, nutritional value, taste, texture, and price, nothing was left to chance by the association to establish the most important ranking of the moment. And the cheese from U stood out thanks to several positive points: high-quality proteins, fatty acids...Essential fats, minerals, and finally natural probiotics, which are great for digestion and the immune system. Add to that a particularly pleasant taste for an industrial product, and there you go!
Manger #Vegan c’est bon pour la santé 🤔. Moi j’ai pris une salade verte accompagnée de charcuterie et fromage à raclette et j’ai pris 1,5kg. J’en conclus que la salade fait grossir !

So, let's stay calm, it's just raclette cheese with a nutri-score of D, so we're still quite far from the salad without dressing that your nutrition expert friend recommends (based on their own criteria). But hey, this little reference might just help you feel a tiny bit less guilty. And the best part is, it comes in a variety of flavors: pepper, smoked, white wine, mustard…
