We knew about the croissant-cookie, the croissant-brownie, and even the cookie-brownie, and we honestly thought nothing could surprise us anymore. But we were wrong! As part of a pop-up happening from April 17 to 19, 2026, Agatto will present an absolutely unique creation: the mochi-cookie. Yes, really!


The mochi-cookie, a result of a collaboration between two pastry chefs

We already knew Agatto for its delicious Japanese pastries and its mochi-making workshops. But this famous delight-filled place in the 11th district still has surprises up its sleeve! This weekend, Agathe, the mastermind behind it all, is opening the doors of her workshop to the public for a special pop-up tea room. And for this occasion, she’s teaming up with Marine Zerbib, a cookie specialist, to create the unique mochi-cookie: a mochi that wraps around a cookie doughneither raw nor baked” with 73% Santa Marta chocolate from Barre Clandestine. It’s making our mouths water!

Many sweet treats offered during this pop-up

The mochi-cookie won’t be the only delight at this pop-up. You’ll also find two other exclusive creations: a black sesame cookie with milk chocolate, and one with matcha ganache heart sesame. The classic Agatto treats will be there too: artisan mochis, matcha cake, and sakura mochi. Of course, there will be plenty to quench your thirst with matcha lattes or traditional ones, bubble teas, lemonades, and fruit juices. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese pastries or taste surprises, we guarantee: this pop-up is not to be missed!
