Every year, the title of "Flavor of the Year" honors a range of products based on their taste qualities, but also on their nutritional attributes, composition, and the brand's environmental commitments. This year, it’s an Asian caterer from the 13th district that has been crowned, and not just any caterer!

HOA NAM is a delightful family-run Asian grocery store that began its journey in 1981 with its first workshop located in Ivry. A few years later, in 1992, the brand opened its first Parisian shop and instantly found success. Fast forward more than 30 years later, and it still delights us with homemade dishes to savor in the restaurant, as well as a wide range of grocery items, some of which have just received a truly special award—the Flavor of the Year 2025 award.

In 2024, the caterer HOA NAM, a true reference among the impressive array of Asian caterers in the 13th arrondissement, distinguished itself once again by winning the Flavor of the Year 2024 award. This symbolic title recognized their range of nems, including their traditional pork ones, and a new halal chicken recipe. This year, it’s another flagship product of the house that just hit the jackpot: the samosas.

On the menu, two recipes have been highlighted with this award, the classic beef samosas, and also a more original twist, which are sweet samosas made with apples. This distinction confirms HOA NAM's position as the leading exporter of Asian cuisine in Europe! You can find their products in the fresh and frozen aisles of the grocery store, for a delightful meal at home.
