Often, when a restaurant stands out for the quality of its dishes, its service, and generally the offerings provided, critics, under the guise of anonymity, award it a star. Today, it’s a macaroon restaurant that has been distinguished with a very honorable title. In fact, it’s the first Parisian establishment noticed by the Versailles Prize: Ladurée on Rue Royale.

Just by looking at the photos, you can understand why the jury made this choice. It's really simple; each salon in the restaurant transports us straight back to the time of Marie-Antoinette. Since 1862, this tea salon has spanned the ages, presenting us with a breathtaking decor that was recently renovated by designer Cordelia de Castellane. It’s a gem of delicacy, poetry, and indulgence, far away from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

The second awarded address is none other than one of the restaurants of the most starred chef in the world, Mr. Alain Ducasse. And here too, no surprises with the decor, which is definitely on par with the cuisine served within these walls. Historic heritage and architectural innovations blend in the rooms, offering us a breathtaking, exotic setting.

In honor of the restaurant's name, Ducasse Baccarat, the crystal of the same name makes its appearance here and there, with delicacy and lightness, conversing with more raw materials. Furniture and works of art imagined by the greatest French artists and artisans complete this exceptional decor, which enhances the gastronomic experience that the chef offers us here.
