Until now, it has only delighted the palates of lucky Londoners, with its 2 restaurants and 5 cafés located in the English capital. But, hallelujah! all of this is now old news because it’s official, Ottolenghi is indeed opening a restaurant in Paris!An exciting piece of news he teased at the end of last year during a conference for the release of his latest book, Comfort. And it has just been confirmed once and for all.
Paris is already drooling
Indeed, it’s in the City of Lights that he will open his first establishment outside of London. This is warm news to our hearts, and we feel almost flattered that he has chosen us for his next location. It will be inspired by his English delicatessens, where you can grab a quick bite or even take meals to go, offering cuisine with Mediterranean and Levantine influences.

And the best part is that the house will also serve as a grocery store, where you can find the main ingredients for certain dishes that are, let's be honest, sometimes a bit tricky to find at the poor little corner shop. So, double dose of good news, even though we recommend you be patient. Indeed, while the project is underway, neither the address nor the opening date has been revealed yet. But if the rumors are to be believed, the restaurant should open between April and May 2025, which is just around the corner! Yay!
