Just a short walk from the Iron Lady, the Bouillon Champs-de-Mars opened quietly a few days ago. Although it has no connection to the Chartier, République, or Pigalle establishments, this brand new spot does embrace a winning formula: traditional French dishes served faster than you can place your order, all at a more than reasonable price. To check out this new gem, head to 70 bis, avenue de Suffren.

An XXL Restaurant

At this new Bouillon, true to tradition, you'll find a clean and simple decor, delicious yet straightforward dishes, and most importantly, a dining area of grand proportions. With over 1700 m², the place can accommodate up to nearly 500 diners at once, which is a bit more than the Bouillon République, which has a more limited capacity.

grave; 450. To manage this horde of hungry customers, about forty people are working hard to serve you as quickly as possible.

On the menu, you can definitely find typical dishes from this type of restaurant, for both appetizers and main courses as well as desserts. However, the new spot stands out thanks to some more innovative twists, like the vinaigrette leeks. ```miso dressing as a starter, or the yuzu lemon tart for dessert. Always at very affordable prices, with 3.50€ for one and 3.90€ for the other. And of course, except for the blood sausage, everything is homemade!

A formula that works

If, for now, Bouillon Champs-de-Mars is keeping a low profile, limiting communication on social media and in the press, it’s mainly to take their time to settle in without being overwhelmed all at once. However, with the many offices around, and the buses that pour in hundreds of tourists daily heading to the Eiffel Tower, there’s no doubt that the concept will catch on quickly. Especially when comparing the prices offered to those of other nearby restaurants, which often take advantage of the influx of visitors.foreigners to slightly inflate their prices…
