Mory Sacko is soon opening a new brewery in the 8th district

Off to the Madeleine district to check out the new brasserie that is sure to make our mouths water more than once. And no wonder, because at the helm is Mory Sacko, who once competed on Top Chef during the most popular confined season of the show. Although the chef has grown since then with two successful ventures, MoSugo and Mosuke, he is still a passionate chef who loves a challenge. Next on his list: a brasserie called Lafayette's on rue d'Anjou (8th arrondissement). This new spot will embody the traditional Parisian brasserie concept that we all know and love, with a well-thought-out menu by the chef, who is no stranger to this type of cuisine. Assisting him is Moma Group, the team behind the highly popular Bœuf sur le Toit, Créatures, Forest, and Lapérouse. If that's not a winning recipe... As for the menu, there aren't many details available at the moment, except that it will be a fusion of American and African flavors.The kitchen theater of Mory Sacko, freely French and neo-bourgeois, seasonal, bridging the American and African continents, in a decor of ochre banquettes tinted with saffron. Fusion cuisine is a true tradition for Mory, who had already experimented with the bridge between Japanese and African cuisine before tackling street food and fried chicken at Mosugo. The opening will happen very soon, by November... Stay tuned.
