For all the food lovers and fans of transalpine flavors, this is sure to make you rush to the 5th. A Braccetto, an Italian restaurant tucked away between the Panthéon and the Luxembourg Garden, brings together la dolce vita and the French art of living with a menu that gathers everything we love, from Spritz to fresh pasta. The good news? The Neapolitan pizzas are also on the menu, in mini formats to devour at your leisure, perfect for trying (almost) all the recipes.
La Dolce Vita on Your Plate
At A Braccetto, Italian cuisine is savored with the utmost authenticity. A meal obviously starts off with a sunny aperitif, featuring a perfectly executed cocktail menu. And most importantly, a Negroni and Spritz bar, to rediscover these specialties from Italy in all their glory. Enjoy them as they are, in their classic versions, whether bitter with Aperol or Campari, or with...
A little more sweetness, between lemon, elderflower, or coconut.View this post on Instagram
Next up are the dishes, and we start off simply with the mozzarella cellar, which offers us a delightful melt-in-your-mouth experience with buffalo cheese from Naples or a creamy burrata from the Puglia region. We then continue with the classics on the menu: truffle arancini, vitello tonnato, parmigiana… And especially, homemade fresh pasta.ng>, between Carbonara, Vongole, and lobster, along with Girelle piemontesi, a specialty from Chef Carlo Finotto's region, featuring ricotta infused with thyme and rosemary and shredded beef slow-cooked for seven hours.
An all-you-can-eat pizza deal!
No worries pizza lovers, you'll definitely be taken care of. The Neapolitan chef prepares a special dough every day (with very little yeast), letting it rest for 72 hours to achieve a crispy, indulgent, and fairly digestible texture. The pizzas are then cooked in an oven made in the pure Neapolitan tradition! When it comes to flavors, you'll have about twenty options to satisfy your cravings: the classic marinara and margherita, the creamy cacio e pepe or tartufo, the briny anchovy variety from Cetara, the generous carbonara, or the spicy Diavola with ‘nduja and its Italian-American version with New York-style pepperoni. The house also offers sweet versions with dough and ag...rave; spread chocolate-hazelnut or pistachio, or even with caramelized apples like a tarte tatin.
To be honest, the hardest part is making a choice… But to help with that, A Braccetto has created an all-you-can-eat option for just 29€ (Sunday to Thursday evening), offering their delicious pizzas in mini versions. Perfect for trying out several recipes without compromise !
