Latte art? That's so last season. Matcha-oat? Out of style! Now that coffee shops have popped up all over the capital, it's time for creativity to shine and stand out from the plethora of caffeinated options in the city. It's no surprise that this little counter in the 6th has made waves on social media in just a few weeks since opening. And for good reason, at Cone, coffee is enjoyed in a cone! Let us explain.
A cone, chocolate, and coffee
Opened on March 20th on the Quai des Grands Augustins, just a stone's throw from Saint-Michel, Cone serves its takeout counter, where the offerings catch curious eyes. The star of the menu? The cappuccino (or hot chocolate), which isn't served in a cup or a disposable cup (too easy), but in a handmade cone drizzled with chocolate. A concept straight from Vienna, that the founder, Enzo, decided to bring to Paris. It's a coffee break that deserves to be unique: you hold your drink like an ice cream!, and we finish the tasting by munching on the container.

Between Craftsmanship and Deliciousness
Serving a cappuccino in a cone is quite an art. Enzo worked with teams for almost a year to find the right container that could hold coffee without leaking and to discover the perfect chocolate to waterproof the inside of the cone. Today, the cones are produced artisanally and...In Monaco, the chocolate used comes from Valrhona and the specialty coffee is supplied by a British roaster. The result? The cappuccino is easy to drink and the cone stays crispy (and infused with delicious coffee flavors) to enjoy your coffee break with pure indulgence.
Expect to pay €8 for a simple cone and €9 for the pistachio-hazelnut version. And if you're not in a cone mood, you can always go for a classic coffee in a cup or a matcha (of course). The little extra? The arrival of beautiful days will also bring the arrival of ice creams, including an affogato that we can't wait to taste.
