As winter settles in comfortably in the capital, we find ourselves increasingly searching for cozy and warm spots to relax all evening. The result? A bunch of winter terraces and chalets are popping up in the city, and one in particular has caught our eye. This winter, Polpo Brasserie is bringing a breath of altitude to the banks of the Seine and becoming Polpo Nord.
A Cloud of Pines and Cable Cars
Transformed into a urban ski resort, the iconic refuge in Levallois swaps its sandy beach for snowy landscapes. The deckchairs are replaced by beautiful illuminated pine trees, and twinkling lights are everywhere for this new winter season. It’s like a little slice of the mountains in the heart of West Paris, immersing us in the ski atmosphere with a range of cozy cable cars to settle in for a delicious feast. And let’s not forget our beloved winter sports!
No green or blue slopes on the agenda, but rather a self-service curling rink for our budding competitors.

Mountain Menu and Melted Cheese Galore
The alpine air makes its way to our plates, as Polpo Nord goes all out with a menu that offers melted cheese in abundance. First up is the very cheeky baguettiflette, featuring a luscious carbonara cream, comté cheese, raclette (of course), and crispy fried onions to add that delightful crunch. The restaurant also serves a cozy little hot box of raclette cheese and pretzels, perfect for sharing—or not!

And because we know that what interests you the most is that good old cheese to spread over potatoes, know that Polpo Nord offers its all-you-can-eat raclette party every Saturday night. For the more adventurous, you can top it all off with a delicious caramel salted butter waffle and nocciolata for dessert. Perfect to satisfy those big appetites!
