The Editor

HOBA stays true to its DNA: a hybrid, free, and lively place that changes with the seasons without ever losing its soul. But this winter, get ready to swap cold beer for a frothy latte, trading the food court tables for a cozy sofa… because here, the winter season promises to be a little bit sweeter.

From food court to the forge

It’s the end of spring/summer season on the terrace of HOBA, this green haven located in the heart of Batignolles. After a final service on October 26, the "en HO" kitchens are hibernating, while the "en BA" section, nestled in a former 19th-century forge, comes back to life. Here, everything now happens indoors (so in BA) in an intimate setting where you can settle into the sofas or on the s sunny terrace to enjoy the last rays of autumn amidst the greenery.

Beninese Brunch and Coffee Shop Made in Batignolles

To satisfy those cozy cravings of the season, HOBA welcomes two new residents. Chachenga, already a star of the food court this summer, is back with a generous and colorful Beninese brunch, served every weekend. Their specialty? Meats braised on volcanic stone, organic and halal, accompanied by vegetables inspired by Beninese flavors. Chachenga introduces a reimagined African cuisine, generous and comforting.

Chloé from Sunday Routine will be offering delicious homemade pastries throughout the day. There will be around twenty recipes, mixing classic favorites and creative delights, perfect for enjoying with cappuccinos and good conversations.

And for Saturday nights, Chachenga keeps it delightful with its sharing platter appetizers, all about extending the joy and fun over a drink.

A cultural and festive winter

Because HOBA doesn't just fill our stomachs, the house also nourishes our minds: drag bingo, comedy club, improv, karaoke, short film screenings, poetry nights, and culinary workshops will spice up the weekends. A true cultural refuge for those who love to laugh, discover, and warm up together!

Shall we meet up?
