Friends with great tips, we have some news that should delight your stomachs (and your wallets). A brand new pop-up restaurant is opening its doors right in the heart of Paris with a unique concept: homemade cuisine based on one single dish at a mini price that’s absolutely irresistible. From May 26 to June 30, come visit 6.90 on Rue Poissonnière, which, as its name suggests, offers only delicious dishes for just 6.80€. Let’s go!
A project by Ephemera
Behind this somewhat quirky project is Jade Frommer, head of Ephemera Group. And if there's one thing to say, this serial entrepreneur is not new to the game! After immersing us in the underwater world with Under The Sea, making us feel like we’re touching the stars with Stellar, or even having us dine with the greats... plants and wild animals with Jungle Palace, the expert in culinary and immersive experiences is once again shaking up the Paris dining scene by offering an experimental format at budget-friendly prices. Accessibility and homemade goodness will be the guiding principles of this pop-up, all to delight Parisians with tighter wallets.
A dish that evolves with a price that stays the same
The concept of 6.90 is based on the great classics of Parisian broth at much lower prices, and that’s what we love! On the culinary side, everything is homemade with good local products, featuring a unique dish of the moment: the traditional knife sausage straight from Aveyron with its homemade mashed potatoes. This dish will likely evolve throughout the three months of the restaurant's opening, but the price will never change.
To complete the meal, there’s a unique dessert: the iconic chocolate mousse at 2.90€ each, making for a very reasonable total of under 10 euros. And for those who want a little extra indulgence, there will be soft drinks and glasses of wine (white or red) at 3.90€. Isn’t life beautiful?
