On January 30th, Belleville will become the gathering spot for lovers of Asian street food. A total immersion among a thousand red lanterns, spicy scents, and authentic flavors.
A Big Celebration for the Lunar New Year
The Lunar New Year 2025 marks the arrival of the Wood Snake, a strong symbol of wisdom, renewal, and creativity. In Asian culture, this year is great for introspection and the emergence of new ideas. It is in this spirit that the Food Market has prepared a special edition to honor this unique period, bringing together flavors from afar to savor right here in Paris.
The Lunar New Year is also a story of symbols: red for prosperity, the Lion dance for good luck, and drums to set the rhythm for the evening. Between bites, it’s easy to get swept away by the energy of this millennia-old celebration.
