Get your taste buds ready, the Food Market is coming on April 10th for a 90th edition that's 100% spicy! On the agenda: street food, of course, games to test your limits, and of course, a whole lot of heat!

It's THE legendary meeting spot on Boulevard de Belleville : after 10 years of existence, the Food Market is back to celebrate its 90th edition in its usual central spot on Thursday, April 10th. As always, the best chefs and restaurateurs from the capital – from Michelin-starred to doner kebab – will be there to delight us. Watch out for your taste buds, this edition promises to be spicy!


An edition all about spice

To celebrate its 90th edition in style, the Food Market has cooked up one of the spiciest menus ever. The organizers have gathered all the hottest restaurants and dishes from the capital. Joining in will be: Five Times More Peppers with its increasingly spicy plates, Malaboom (a Sichuan eatery that we absolutely loved and you can read about here), Soma Sando with its hot spicy corn dog, BMK and its chili chocolate cake, or even the brand-new restaurant...Joy will introduce us to the hooper, the quintessential Sri Lankan dish. 

But that's not all! Oté, Melt, Mimi’s Charcuterie, Distrito Français, and many more will also be there. Whether it's in a curry, in sauce, in a dwich', or even as a dessert, one thing's for sure, spice will be the star of the show!

Games galore to test your taste buds

For the entertainment, the Hot in Here collective, specialists in hot sauces, will organize different games – including a spicy bar and a spicy roulette – to test the endurance of the bravest souls. Finally, the travel agency WeRoad will also have a stand where they will host a competition for House Martin hot sauces. What a wonderful way to say goodbye to the winter chill and hello to the warmth!

And for those who want to take a little souvenir home, Maison Martin is excited to offer, as a special preview, its brand new Naga Mango sauce, a fiery blend of mango puree and fresh naga chili. So, grab your spiciest buddy and come give it a try!
