After the crookie and the chocolate croissant-brownie… Parisian bakeries aren't holding back on the wacky fusions taking over social media. And among the latest improbable crossovers, the famous and oh-so-delicious BO&MIE brand has just launched a brand new creation that's sure to delight sweet-toothed taste buds. Discover the Cro/Flan, a croissant filled with custard and caramelized on top. Yum!
The quintessential Parisian bakery
Founded in 2017, BO&MIE continues to shine a spotlight on artisanal craftsmanship in Paris's pastry scene. The first historic shop of
the store located on Turbigo Street eventually gave birth to seven other shops in Paris (and beyond) while keeping the promise of homemade goodness. Today, everything is imagined, made and tested in a 2,000 m² laboratory in Clichy, ensuring daily production. The result? Every BO&MIE boutique keeps us company from morning to night, from the deliciously buttery pastry of your breakfast to the savory dishes of lunch, passing through lovely French pastries to enjoy at teatime and the good bread that goes with our dinner.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
Neither croissant, nor custard tart… but both !
BO&MIE doesn't stick to the classics and offers new creations throughout the seasons that make our sweet-toothed hearts skip a beat. The latest creation ? The Cro/Flan, the ultimate fusion between homemade butter croissant and the ever-popular custard tart BO&MIE style, beautifully creamy and flavored with Madagascar vanilla. This delightful treat comes in two versions : one crème brûlée style with a layer of caramelized sugar on top ; the other fruitier, with a raspberry croissant, raspberry jam and raspberry pieces layered on the custard. It's crispy, it's melting… so, which end do we start with ?
