The Editor

As the beautiful days finally start to show their faces in the capital, open-air events are popping up just as quickly as the Japanese cherry blossoms. Among them, this lovely spot where art, music, gastronomy, mixology, and a great atmosphere come together is back for a second edition that’s set to be incredibly delicious. At the foot of the BnF, the ephemeral terrace Plat/Form, a space of 500 m², opened its doors on May 7th, and it’s already promising great things!

An Exceptional Gastronomic Spot

It’s no longer a secret to anyone, as soon as the sun peeks out and the thermostat climbs above 20°C, the quays become more popular than a pint of beer on a Champions League final night (get ready, May 31st is coming up fast!).

And we're completely on board with that lovely party vibe where everyone becomes friends. However, a night by the riverside with your pack of 12 and some slightly soggy chips is rarely a recipe for high gastronomy.

But all that is ancient history since the chefs from Top Chef decided to make it their playground. And after Jean Covillault and his guinguette last year, or even Alexandre Marchand at Plat/Form, it's now Chloé Charles's turn to take over this super cool spot on the Left Bank. Because yes, there are some pretty nice places on the Left Bank, much to the dismay of the Right Bank snobs.

An Idyllic Setting

And if the chef was chosen this year, it's to represent this place that aims to redefine the connections between art, social engagement, and gastronomy. A true cultural laboratory, the venue offers both a sit-down dining experience and a finger food counter, perfect for more relaxed sharing. Plat/Form aspires to be a meeting space for the arts, and to make that happen, the guinguette offers an exclusive weekly program featuring both artistic and musical performances. Until October shining bright!

you'll be able to enjoy cultural events of all kinds, as well as gourmet cuisine at quite affordable prices and environmentally friendly, all in a breathtaking setting by the Seine. What more could you ask for?
