The Editor

The bouillons, ultra-popular restaurants of Belle Époque Paris, are increasingly seducing Parisians in search of a good traditional French meal that's also affordable. On the menu, eggs mayo for less than 3 euros and nonstop service that keeps buzzing... It's the kind of brasserie we love, and it can be found in a variety of locations across Paris. While every neighborhood has its own bouillon, Saint-Ouen will soon have the honor of having one signed by Thierry Marx.

Good and cheap

On the Saint-Ouen side, the former institution Coq de la Maison Blanche gives way to the brand new broth of the Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx. Despite being accustomed to white tablecloths and multi-course meals, he doesn't neglect popular cuisine. So we can enjoy his gourmet dishes with traditional flavors, all for an incredibly affordable price of less than €15!

Towards an opening in 2024

On the menu, you will find a wide variety of French specialties with classics like eggs mayo, onion soup, beef bourguignon with pasta, steak fries, roasted chicken or crème brûlée. However, you will have to be patient, as the restaurant is still under construction and will only open at the end of June 2024. Nonetheless, the chef has left a written message on a banner for his future customers: " pleasant to eat, pleasant to pay ". We can't wait!
