But while we drink a lot of coffee, we mostly drink GOOD coffee, and the proof is that the coffee shop Tanat has just been ranked the 7th best coffee in the world!

Already named the best independent coffee shop in Europe in 2024, Tanat proves its excellence by securing the 7th place in the 2026 global ranking established by the "World's 100 Best Coffee Shops". This ranking is a testament to its commitment and admirable values. Its beans have been selected from all over the planet by experts: Brazil, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Mexico, ...

Peru, Salvador, or even Ethiopia. The technique is precise. Equipment, movements, tempo: nothing is left to chance.

But beyond passion, Tanat is committed to choosing products based on their quality, of course, but also on the philosophy of those who cultivate them, a beautiful way to encourage virtuous agricultural practices. In the field of innovation, they especially want to keep an eye on what really matters: taste, humanity, and the planet. A ranking that's more than serious

If you dare to question this ranking, hold on right there, the judges are not kidding around. First off, 30% of the final score comes from the votes of the world's biggest coffee enthusiasts. Then, to evaluate a coffee shop, there are no less than 8 criteria to consider: the quality of the coffee (thank goodness), the expertise of the baristas, customer service, innovation, the vibe and atmosphere of the place, whether the practices are sustainable, the quality of the food offered, and the community.

Alright, even if we’re not entirely sure what “community” really means, what we do understand is that for “The World's 100 best coffee shops” we’re not just talking about coffee, but rather a true religion...
