We know that there are Italian restaurants galore in the capital, with dozens (if not hundreds) available, and it's not always easy to know where to turn. Luckily, there are folks ready to help you get some clarity. Just like our friends at 50 Top Italy, we're among those people. Italian Supremacy with a French Twist
Of course, when Italians tell us where the best Italian restaurant in the capital is, we want to believe them. To discover this gem, you'll need to head over to the Royal Monceau-Raffles in the 8th arrondissement to…
;couvrir Il Carpaccio, with at its helm the chefs Alessandra Del Favero and Oliver Piras. She hails from Belluno, while he is from Cagliari, and they have been working hand in hand for 11 years. Clearly, it pays off, as they already secured 2nd place last year and even earned the gold medal in 2024.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
On the menu, “combinations that, sometimes, and without exaggeration, can easily be described as brilliant,” reveals the Top 50 Italy. Here, you’ll find authentic Italian products serving exquisite transalpine cuisine. There are stunning plates, served in a room described by critics as a “gem.” A quest for quality that earned the restaurant a first étoile Michelin in spring 2022.
A handful of exceptional addresses
And as The French capital is always ready to shine when it comes to gastronomic performances. Il Carpaccio isn’t the only restaurant in Paris making its mark in the top 50. In fact, at 18th place, we find Substance (16th), long ran by former Top Chef Matthias Marc, and recently taken over by chefs Flavio Lucarini and Aurora Storari, who have infused the place with some delightfully successful Italian inspirations. Next up is Caffè Stern in 21st place. A little temple of Italian elegance, expertly managed by chef Alessandro Fornaro. Lastly, chef Paolo Ambrogio and his restaurant Tosca, located in the 8th, take the 44th place. With all these spots, you’re sure to find the best pasta in Paris, right?
