The Editor

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, we hear the same tune: Beaujolais Nouveau comes back to give us a great excuse to celebrate. But this time, we’re skipping the clichés of young wine that we sip on hastily and heading to the institution of institutions, which delights both young and old foodies day and night. On Thursday, November 20, the meeting place is set at Au Pied de Cochon with a cheeky program paired with a very special vintage.

Get your corkscrews ready!

Wednesday, November 19, at 11:59 PM, the bell rings in downtown Paris. And for good reason: Au Pied de Cochon is launching 24 hours of festivities to celebrate a very special vintage, the Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau from Domaine des Nugues, crafted by Gilles Gelin. It’s an evening of grand celebrations with culinary personalities who will be delighted to share a complimentary glass with you to taste the nectar of the year 2025. And as tradition dictates, the design of the label has once again been…

trusted a talent, this time the one of Jean-Michel Tixier, who draws inspiration from the Parisian art of living and the must-haves of Le Pied de Cochon to create a vibrant (and flavorful) image for us.

A Week of Epicurean Feasting

After a (little) night's sleep, the party continues on Thursday, November 20th, at noon with a traditional lunch that we love. An epicurean banquet, which, in addition to the iconic dishes of the House, offers oeufs meurette, sauce-purée, and an absolutely delightful wild boar pie – yum!sublime evenings in Beaujolais. A menu as delicious as it is festive, specially crafted for the occasion and to be enjoyed all week following the arrival of the new wine! Happy indulging!
