For 30 years, Mister Cocktail has been telling us, "without alcohol, the party is crazier!" This is definitely the choice being made this January 2026 by the Social Bar, a self-proclaimed festive bar in the 12th, which has decided to fully embrace Dry January. What’s on the agenda? Not a single drop of alcohol will be served all month long!

Making good resolutions is great. Sticking to them can be a bit tricky sometimes. So for everyone who has decided to make a vow of sobriety at the start of this year, we’ve found the perfect spot to help you stay on track: the Social Bar. Here, you can swap your beer for juice, your glass of wine for soda, or your cocktail for a mocktail. But watch out, all this without giving up on a good vibe and an amazing lineup of events!


A Little Parisian Revolution

For the past few years, alcohol-free beverages have made a strong comeback in Parisian social life, especially among young people, leading to the opening of several places, like restaurants and bars where virgin drinks reign. But in January 2026, it’s actually the first...

Every time a 100% alcohol-free bar opens its doors : the CHICHE Project. Behind this initiative is the Social Bar, which promotes a simple philosophy : it's not the alcohol that makes the quality of the evening, but the people present, the music, the conversations, in short, everything else. And we must say that we completely agree with that! Bonus — a noteworthy one : we have a great evening, and most importantly, we enjoy a day without a hangover the next day!


An Irresistible Program

But wait, not drinking doesn't mean settling for soda and Perrier, which isn't super fun. No, for this occasion, the Social Bar is completely rethinking its menu, with a selection of 0° taps, drinks specially crafted for the event by a sober bartender, and a menu that changes based on the themes of the evenings. To go along with all that, “concerts, DJ sets, musical happy hours, meetups, talks, testimonials, and tastings ” await you throughout the month. And the story might not stop there, because if the concept works, the Social Bar could very well take the idea further by creating a pressure-free, inclusive, and totally festive space, opening the first bar where non-alcoholic drinks would be the norm… 365 days a year!
