After already delighting us with his freshly filled chouquettes, his profiterole bar, and his stuffed croissants, followed by a first-ever “French-style” mille-feuille bar, chef Philippe Conticini is back at it again, repeating the last operation that turned out to be a huge success in the capital. Here, the famous pastry is freshly assembled before our eyes, ready to be customized to our wildest desires. We won’t lie to you, at Bonbon, this news makes us so happy, and just thinking about it has our taste buds all aflutter. We're excited to share with you all the useful info to get your dose of delight.


A recipe, and dozens of combinations.

Ants in the Cheeks

The recipe gives ants in the cheeks: a pastry masterpiece made of three layers of ultra-crispy puff pastry and two layers of pastry cream, all twisted with an insert and drizzled with the most drool-worthy topping. For the inserts, you can choose from salted butter caramel, exotic caramel – passion fruit, mango, pineapple – or homemade praline 69%. On the topping side, we have to decide between caramelized almonds and hazelnuts, salted butter caramel bits, or mango-passion crispies. And let me tell you, it’s going to be a tough choice!

Just head over the next day, Sunday, March 16, between 9 AM and 1 PM, to the shop in Boulogne, located just a few minutes from the eponymous woods. With that, we’ll let you go, as we need to pre-order kilos and kilos of mille-feuille to make sure we don’t miss out on this little dose of pleasure.
