The Editor

When it's time to eat ice cream, we head straight to Bältis. Opened in the summer of 2022 by Jean Michel de Tarrazi and Nadim Kettane, two cousins born in Lebanon, this place offers us a range of creamy sorbets and ice creams made with ultra-high quality and organic ingredients. It's a beautiful fusion of Lebanese and French flavors for a delicious and refreshing summer!

1001 delicious perfumes

We dive into the heart of the city of Beirut with the classic achta ice cream ball coated with pistachio flakes, the Halawa made with white sesame paste and pistachio or even olive oil and thyme ice cream. As for sorbets, you can find a multitude of fruity and fresh flavors. Orange blossom, rose, apricot, lemon, mango, strawberry, blackberry, dried fig... A real vitamin-packed and colorful treat in a cone (or in a cup). But for a unique indulgent break, opt for chocolate ice cream sprinkled with dried fruits and drizzled with arak. Absolutely divine!

A second address for summer

To our great pleasure, all these delicious ice cream flavors will now be available in the Montorgueil neighborhood, as Bältis opens its second address for the summer. After the rue Saint-Antoine, in the heart of the Marais, it is the rue Tiquetonne that welcomes our favorite artisan glacier. Now all that's left is to make your choice!
