The Editor

Located in an old industrial space being transformed in Pantin, this unique place promises to become the largest Japanese buffet in the world. Inside: more than 800 dishes ranging from the great classics – sushi, maki, sashimi – to more traditional specialties like ramen, okonomiyaki, or freshly prepared tempura... enough to delight an entire army. But that’s not all! Tatami rooms and lounges for intimate karaoke sessions will also be available for you to enjoy while having a blast. We’re sharing everything with you!

A little Japan

This gigantic buffet has been designed to offer a total immersion into the land of the rising sun. The whole setup will be divided into different areas inspired by Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, with particular attention given to the atmosphere: lanterns, raw wood, lively counters… and even a few tatami rooms for complete immersion. You'll feel like you’re really there!

Stalls as far as the eye can see

Here, no boring trays or dry skewers. Each stall operates like an open kitchen, with chefs slicing fish, rolling makis right before your eyes, and sending out steaming bowls of ramen in a flash. Sumptuous tonkotsu, classic shoyu, or spicy versions—everyone can create their perfect bowl. Further along, Japanese grills would offer caramelized yakitori, snacking Wagyu beef, crispy gyozas, and grilled vegetable skewers. A street food corner would showcase hearty takoyaki, ultra-crispy karaage, and ready-to-go filled onigiri.

A special mention goes to the dessert section, featuring a corner completely dedicated to mochis, dorayakis, and other Japanese sweets. Enjoy matcha, black sesame, or purple sweet potato ice creams, not to mention a matcha fountain for delightful sipping non-stop.

Sushi Galore

On the sushi side, we have an almost indecent variety: fatty tuna nigiri, blowtorched salmon, truffle-infused makis, crispy California rolls, and don’t forget a whole counter dedicated to freshly sliced sashimi. There's even a space dedicated to handrolls made to order, perfect for the purists.

Karaoke lounges!

In an atmosphere as electric as the nights in Tokyo, intimate karaoke sessions will delight singers who come to let loose without a care in the world. With the mic in hand, everyone belts out hits, from J-pop to international classics. Amidst laughter, charming off-key moments, and unexpected performances, the place will transform into a true festive outlet where we sing like no one is watching, whether you're a rising diva or just a casual fan.

A monitored all-you-can-eat formula…

As for the pricing, this place is banking on a unique formula around €27, giving access to all the stands. But to prevent any excesses, a few rules will be in place: limited time, extra charge for waste, and a well-organized table rotation.

With this extraordinary buffet, Paris might just become the new European capital of all-you-can-eat sushi... and one thing's for sure: no need to buy a ticket to Japan to feel like you’re there!

One last thing: thank you for your interest and kudos for your focus! You’re part of the 0.1% who read an article all the way through. And by the way, have you checked today’s date? Always keep a hint of skepticism… because as they say…On April 1st, it's often all about fun and mischief, and here at Bonbon, we love a good joke. Don’t be too disappointed, our pranks have sometimes (often) turned into reality in the past… To the keen observer who sees this idea as a lifelong project!
