If there’s one necessary expense that really hits our wallets every month, it’s the Navigo Pass. While some of us may have escaped this during the summer thanks to vacations outside of Paris, as school starts again, it’s time to get back to our old habits and invest that €88.80 per month. However, it turns out there are assistance programs available to help you benefit from reduced rates. Let us explain how these categories work!

For Young People and Students

Here’s the essential information to know when studying in Paris: with the Imagine R Student Pass, the Navigo Pass costs just 392.30 € per year, including registration fees. So it’s a must-have to travel comfortably throughout the Île-de-France region. For younger students in primary, secondary school, or apprenticeships, the Imagine R School Pass is available at the same price. Children under 11 can enjoy the Imagine R Junior Pass for just 24.80 € per year.

For Young People in Professional Integration

If you’re a resident of Île-de-France, between the ages of 16 and 25 and are an intern in one of the programs of the regional public service for training and professional integration, you will have free access to the Pass Navigo for the entire duration of your training.

For people in civic service

Are you currently starting or about to begin a civic service or European voluntary service? Keep in mind that once you've signed a commitment contract with the Civic Service Agency for a mission in the region, you're entitled to a 50% discount on monthly and weekly Navigo passes.

For seniors

Just as young people enjoy discounts, so do seniors! Travelers over 62 years old can benefit from a 50% discount on the Annual Navigo pass. This means a monthly rate of €44.40

For beneficiaries

People benefiting from State Medical Assistance are entitled to a 50% discount on the weekly and monthly passes. If you receive assistance such as the Specific Solidarity Allowance (ASS) or the Complementary Universal Health Coverage/Solidarity Health Complement (CSS), you qualify for a 75% reduction in the fare. The Free Solidarity Package allows those receiving social aid to enjoy free Navigo Pass every three months.

For people with disabilities and their companions

If you are in a situation of disability, you may be entitled to a 50% discount on the price of the Navigo Pass, or even free access. Companions can also benefit from this.
