According to a study conducted by the comparison site Compare the Market Australia, the French capital is the second most exciting city in Europe to visit for sports enthusiasts, thanks to a huge and especially varied range of options.

Gone are the days of reading by the pool, lounging around, and visiting museums. In recent years, outdoor activities and sport tourism have taken the spotlight! In fact, in 2024, sporting activities will make up 10% of global tourism, according to the World Tourism Organization. And one thing's for sure, for those of you who are more active, some cities are definitely more appealing than others. At the top of the list (or almost), is the French capital, thanks to its infrastructure, competitions, parks, and other sports bars.

To create its rankings, the site focused on 7 specific criteria, including the number of parks, sporting competitions, and bars dedicated to showing matches.
