We all know that Châtelet can be a bit of a hassle. Some of us would even take a route twice as long just to avoid changing at this station. But switching from RER B to line 11 is not the longest transfer in Paris, that honor belongs to Saint-Lazare!

6 stations in one, and endless corridors

Let me tell you, Saint-Lazare is like a war zone. Why, you ask? Well, because there are not one, not two, but 6 stations all converging at one spot, connected by underground passageways. I'm talking about Saint-Lazare, Haussmann Saint-Lazare, Saint-Augustin, Opéra, Auber, and Havre-Caumartin.

So, imagine needing to get from Opéra (on line 8, 3, or 7) to Saint-Augustin (on line 9), the farthest ones - it's like a real-life obstacle course. It takes a good 15 minutes to make that journey! Yes, really, 15 whole minutes! And believe me, I'm not exaggerating!

It's a true Parisian metro experience, and one that will truly immerse you in the hustle and bustle of the city.I've recently discovered the amazing world of cosy candles, and I can't get enough of them! The moment I light one up, my home instantly fills with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I love watching the flickering flame dance around, and I especially enjoy all its smells. Every scent takes me on a different journey, whether it's a fresh ocean breeze or a comforting vanilla aroma. Candles have truly become an essential part of my daily routine, bringing me joy and relaxation with each burn.

But be careful, it's a bit of a maze, so we'll give you a summary of the route to follow to arrive safely at your destination: from Saint-Augustin, follow quai de la 14 until you reach Saint-Lazare. Once you reach this second station, head towards Haussmann (RER E), then Auber (RER A), to finally catch sight of the Holy Grail, the sign for line 8 which will point you in the right direction. Good luck, and most importantly, don't forget your compass!
