David-Pierre Larible leaves us dizzy with his juggling act, while Eliza Khachatryan, standing on her tightrope, takes our breath away. The Duo Sweet Darkness wows us with their aerial hoop performance, Lusesita & Matteo move us with their sensational pole act, and the Flying Tabares send shivers down our spines as they perform their daring triple jump on the flying trapeze. With his diabolo, Michael Betrian captures all of our attention. The Free Fall at the Banquine showcases spectacular lifts, and the Trio Skating Nistorov put on their roller skates to dazzle us. We definitely can't forget the trio Les Mangeurs de lapin, who bring a touch of whimsy and humor, making this show absolutely unique.
More than 170 aA bit of history
To tell the story of the Cirque d'Hiver, we need to rewind back to December 11, 1852, when it was inaugurated by Napoleon III. From the very start, the circus enjoyed great success, which hasn't faded even 170 years after its opening. It was in 1934 that the four Bouglione brothers took the reins of this enchanting place, becoming true legends in the circus world. With them, the fame of the Cirque d'Hiver spread across all of Paris, then France, and beyond. Since 1999, the new Bouglione generation has carried on the legacy, blending tradition and modernity to keep sharing the magic of the spectacle with as many people as possible and to ensure the triumph of the oldest circus in the world!
