Courgette at the Tristan Bernard Theatre
« Adults need to be shaken to let their inner child come out. » The play Courgette by Pamela Ravassard is inspired by the novel by Gilles Paris, Autobiography of a Courgette. Stunning and poetic, the work performed on stage tells us the story of a 10-year-old boy, Icare, also known as Courgette. While his mother plunges into alcoholism, the young boy falls into deep sadness. He then grabs a revolver and tries to shoot the sky, which he believes to be responsible for all the misfortunes. He will be placed in a home for troubled children. Along his journey, he will meet people who reconstruct a soul, people who mend a heart.
The authenticity of this show will move spectators in search of sweetness and poetry.
