In place of the former Perchoir, right in the heart of Paris, a new rooftop has set up shop at BHV Marais at the start of summer. I present to you Terraza Mikuna, which made a noticeable entrance into the neighborhood last year and has now treated itself to a rendezvous in the 7th heaven (a.k.a the 7th floor) for the new summer season. Let’s take a look at this new spot that has brought our Parisian summer to life with delicious Latin plates and vibrant DJ sets.

A Latin-inspired rooftop with a breathtaking view

Here’s the scoop: a 360° view of the capital, sunsets that will leave you awestruck, a cozy decor that transports us to South America, and a festive atmosphere to boot. For those who already knew the place (back when it was run by Perchoir), you know the view is spectacular and touches both the H&oc

the City Hall to the Eiffel Tower, passing by the Saint-Jacques Tower.

On the decor side, it's the Studio Louis Morgan that has created a warm atmosphere for this rooftop surrounded by gray Parisian rooftops, featuring more intimate lounge areas for a little tête-à-tête and big tables for lively gatherings with friends. Because here, the vibe is all about celebration, especially on weekends with...DJ sets in the evening transforming the terrace into an open dance floor. Latin sounds are definitely on the menu, perfect for dancing until 2 AM.

South American Flavors on the Menu

For the feast, it’s pretty simple; it’s the South American flavors that take center stage (no surprise here!) with specialties from Peru, Argentina, and Mexico. What’s on the menu? Mikuna tacos served in a trio featuring three delicious options: the veggie with marinated mushrooms, the barbacoa beef, and fresh salmon. Plus, there’s a grilled cuisine that smells like summer, including chicken, Argentine chorizo, and flank steak… all grilled over charcoal and served with homemade sauces. It's the kind of meal you’ll want to enjoy with signature house cocktails, with variations of tequila or pisco depending on your mood, and of course, non-alcoholic versions that are just as fruity and refreshing.
