You know us, we're always on the lookout for the highest, the most beautiful, and the most breathtaking rooftops in the capital, especially when summer arrives. And this summer of 2025, a new gem has joined the list of fabulous Parisian rooftops. Since July 3rd, La Terrasse du Musée d’Orsay, located on the 5th floor, has reopened its doors to the public. It's a lovely way to wrap up your visit or to take a break while wandering through the different galleries of the museum.

Between drinks and dining options
Come and take it all in at the Musée d’Orsay. This illustrious establishment on the Left Bank invites you to relax on its terrace while you enjoy a drink or savor a meal. Yes, in addition to revealing its bar designed in Art Nouveau style, a dining option is making its way onto this rooftop for the very first time. With rillettes, wraps, and even macarons or cookies… there’s something for both savory and sweet lovers.
An exceptional view of Paris
What about the view? Well, you’ll be treated to a 180° panorama, allowing you to gaze upon the Seine in all its glory, and also the Louvre right across the way. Further along, you can see the Tuileries Garden.
