Here it is! With the beautiful days finally making their appearance, the season of open-air events, terraces, and rooftops is officially here, and nothing could make us happier. For this 2025 edition, we can say that Parisian spots are going all out, with the opening of places cooler and more intriguing than ever. The latest addition? Kinugawa Rive Gauche, a brand new Japanese restaurant that is sure to quickly become our new HQ.
An unstoppable rise
After an absolutely incredible success at the opening of its restaurants in Vendôme and Matignon, Kinugawa continues its ascent.
A dazzling tension, and this time it’s arriving from the other side of the Seine. Perched atop the Sax Hotel, this Japanese spot now offers an exquisite and exotic cuisine to all the residents of the 7th – or to those brave enough to make the trip there – .Voir cette publication sur Instagram
Spread over 2 levels, the restaurant offers you an incredible XXL rooftop with a majestic view over a good part of the capital, and more specifically over one of its most famous monuments: the one and only Iron Lady. A unique gem that blends the refinement of Parisian elegance with the serenity of Japanese aesthetics. And the great plus is, the view is the same from inside the place!
High-flying cuisine
On the menu, you'll find a subtle dialogue between tradition and modernity, revealing to us all the flavors of Japan. Melt-in-your-mouth toro sashimi, crispy taruto cake with salmon and white truffle.
black cod marinated in miso or even yellowtail carpaccio, let me tell you, just reading the menu makes our mouths water. We accompany all of this with one of the delicious cocktails inspired by French-Japanese flavors dreamed up by the bar, and here we are with all the right ingredients for a lovely evening.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
