We see you, being silly and sneaking bites of raw cookie dough before baking. But raw eggs + raw flour don't mix well in our stomachs. Ben & Jerry's has dedicated itself to offering us their recipe for edible cookie dough.
Specially designed to be eaten raw, it can be stored in the fridge for a week (if you can resist it for that long). Our advice: roll your dough into mini balls and devour them as they are, or add them to your desserts, ice creams, and other treats. Enjoy!
Ingredients
114 g margarine (or softened unsalted butter at room temperature)
200 g brown sugar
30 g heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of sea salt
120 g flour
90g of chocolate chips
Recipe
1. Bake the flour (mandatory step to make it edible). To do this, preheat your oven to 150 degrees, spread your flour on a baking sheet and bake it for two minutes. Then remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the flour cool down to a temperature of 70 degrees before baking it again for 2 minutes, still at 150 degrees.
2. Mix the butter and sugar to form a light dough.
3. Add the vanilla, heavy cream, and salt, mix everything. Then add the baked flour and mix well.
4. Incorporate the chocolate chips.
5. Shape into small balls and enjoy!
